This weekend was spent trying new things out and spending time with my pup. My dog is the laziest animal around town….

I got a chance to go down to the water front and paddle board. It was absolutely gorgeous out and I really missed being outdoors. I tried to do some yoga poses on the board, because I know paddle board yoga is an actually workout, but it was definitely harder then it looked!

When I went to the store to pick up a few snacks for the weekend I FINALLY found the dark chocolate almond milk! Loooooove it! Tastes just like chocolate milk and it settles my chocolate craving.

Post workout was 1/2 scoop raw fit protein & then I joined my mom for breakfast at #firstwatch. The cran oatmeal is so good I usually get the energy bowl but I switched it up. I skipped the English muffin…I’m a little confused why they would serve carbs on cabs because that’s just tempting.

I am completely in love with California. Everywhere you turn is good food & a chance to exercise. When I was visiting we decided to cruise down Santa Monica on our beach bikes. It was absolutely stunning, I hope to live here one day.

Here is my short advocacy piece that I produced in my film class this semester. I choose this topic, because, as a women I see and struggle with body image every day. I wanted this video to shine a light on the fact that every woman, in some way, struggles with their body. It is up to us to love who we are and what we are given.

Hour cardio & 15 minutes shoulders workout complete! I love my new water bottle from Disneyland…I’m obsessed with all things Disney & princesses- I know child at heart. 

I had a fasted cardio session this morning so for breakfast I’m going to have one scoop Raw Fit Protein & have half a grapefruit.

My second workout of the day was rollerblading. I forgot how hard rollerblading is…I am trying to push myself to do different things and master them. First goal…learn how to stop.

Little Update (Vacation Pics To Come)

GOOOOOD MORNING! After a long vacation its time to clean up my diet and get back into my workout routine. Yesterday I went for an hour run and roller bladed for 30 minutes.

My meals consisted of…
-1 scoop Raw Fit with unsweetened Almond milk
- 4oz chicken with a large kale and broccoli slaw salad I added some sunflower seeds, 50% less sugar cranberries, and yellow peppers. Dressing was balsamic
- 2 egg whites and 1 whole egg scrambled with green peppers and Mrs.Dash extra spicy salt free seasoning.
-1 organic turkey burger and another kale and broccoli slaw salad with yellow peppers
- for a late night snack i took a quarter of a Cookie Dough Quest bar and added a little peanut butter on it. yum!

Finals week is pretty much over & I’m thrilled! I have a whole 2 weeks to relax until summer school! I’ve been binge eating a lot cause I’ve been so stressed about school, BUT I’ve been back on track for 4 days now and plan on staying this way cause summer is basically here.

I made my aunt a protein bar cake, because she loves bars & what better way to celebrate than with this type of cake. It was pretty easy. I took a few cardboard boxes, stacked them, and then taped the bars to them.

This week I am focusing on cardio so that I can drop the weight & next week I’m going to lift more heavier weights. Even though I’m doing more cardio I’m still incorporating light weights.
